Week #8:
( I do not own the rights to this image. Image taken from www.clock-desktop.com )
Start this meditation as we start all others, in a calm, quiet place in which you will not be disturbed. Focus on your breathing and feel every muscle/bone in your body relax and let go. (It helps to practice the void meditation from week 1), take your time doing this until you are completely relaxed, this isn't a race! When you , "think" that you are totally relaxed take the time to feel every limb in your body, scan your body for any tensed muscles (you will usually find some) and send a calming relaxing light to them. You will notice that many times the muscles in your face are the last to relax so don't forget about them! Focus on a calm and peaceful center that you are now in , let it envelope you fully. When you are ready you will want to bring up your "mind movie theater", this is the screen used from the earlier mentioned Apple Meditation. As you walk into your darkened theater take a seat in the front row and make sure you are still relaxed and focused. On the screen you will see an elevator, "step" into it, and take it all the way to the bottom level. When the doors open and you enter the room that appears before you you will see two things in the large room. On the left side of the room envision your favorite comfy furniture, the place you go to relax it can be a bean bag chair, a sofa, a bed or whatever you choose. This is the place that you will sit and contemplate what you want from your journey through time and space and into your past. On the right there is a Closed door, behind this door lies the portal that you will travel through to reach your past lives. While you are relaxing on your furniture be confident that you will be safe and secure on your journey and that the universe loves you, and means you no harm. When you are ready to walk through the door you will know, when you are ready approach the door. If you are not yet ready that is perfectly alright, you can come back to this place anytime. Take solace in knowing that you have this power now, you have the power to take this journey and learn these valuable lessons. I can't stress enough to once again NOT rush yourself. For your own peace and safety during your journey you need to state to the Universe, very clearly (this is very important!!! Do not skip this step). 1. "During my journey throughout the past I am 100% safe, I am protected fully from all negativity and nothing can do me any harm" 2. " I will completely see, hear and experience my journey through my past lives, as though I am watching a movie, and the same as watching a movie can do me no harm, the journey will do me no harm." 3. " I am fully aware of my reason/intention to take this journey through my past lives, and that intention is this, (state intention here)." When you have done this, reach forward and open the door. If the door gives you trouble or does not open, this is the Universe telling you that you are NOT ready for your journey. Go back to the couch, or come back and try again later. When you are ready and the door opens you will enter your past life room. This is another, smaller theater with only one chair in it, a small table beside the chair, a remote control with two buttons and a white screen that is covered by blinds and a set of curtains. When you are ready and sitting in the chair, pick up the remote control. You will notice that there is a green button on the left, and a red button on the right. The pushing the green button will raise the screen/open the curtains and show you your past lives, this is the "Play" button. The red button will immediately shut the blinds, close the curtains and end your viewing journey, this is the "Stop" button. Be aware the when the blinds rise, the life that plays for you will be the correct life that you need to/are meant to see at that time. This will be the life that you need to fulfill your goal/intention. Now push play. When the screen comes on you will see yourself from a past life standing there, frozen as if you are a video game on pause. Take time to see yourself clearly, take note of your appearance and what you are wearing. If you have trouble seeing yourself start with your feet and work your way up. When you are ready, act as the director and say, "Action"! This will set you in motion and your "movie" will begin, note that it will NOT begin until you say this. It's always a good idea to ask when learning to past life regress, to only be shown positive images until you have fully mastered this technique. You will also want to start slow, in 15 or 20 minute journeys at first, and increase time only when you have practiced and mastered the technique. When you start to feel "wrong", or if you feel panic or an inner alarm that means it is time to journey back to your comfy chair. Do not push yourself further than you need! Push the red button right away and you will be back to safety. Sit in the chair and ponder, just like standing up too quickly from a sitting position can give you a headrush, it is also not a good idea to immediately rise from the chair. When you are ready go back through the elevator doors to the top floor. You will once again be in your large theater, you feel yourself leave the screen. You are now ready to journey back to consciousness do this slowly , start by wiggling your fingers and toes, pay attention to the sounds around you and slowly bring your body back before opening your eyes. You can learn alot from past life regression and there is much to gain! Until next time take care, and Blessed Be!

Quick Escape/mind clearning
Week #7:
( I do not own the copywright to this image and claim no rights to it!)
When ever you need a quick escape this meditation is fantastic. What I love about this one is that you can do it anywhere, even in a room full of people because it is meant to be a quick exercise it lasts only as long as you need it to. This meditation does require some focus, (you can gain this skill by practicing the Void Meditations explained earlier). Close your eyes, (I find that this helps ,but if your focus is great enough you may be able to keep your eyes open). Get an idea in mind of your very favorite place, this can be a place that you've been, or a place that you desperately want to go. Where ever you choose it should be a destination that puts your soul at rest and promotes peace and calm. Once you have the place in mind start very slowly to , "go there". With each inhale your body feels lighter, and with each exhale the scene starts to get clearer, and more vivid. When you arrive at your destination take it all in. I like to use a tropical beach, for example, when I arrive at my beach there is no one anywhere in site. Take in every single detail, really FEEL it. You are AT this place, this place is not in your mind, you have traveled here. I take note of the way the sand feels between my toes, I listen to the relaxing call of the Sea Gulls, I smell the tropical flowers and feel the sun on my face as the waves gently lap at the beach. I then like to slowly wade out into the water, it's warm and calm as it envelops me, so clear and blue! Fully let yourself experience your destination, when you are calm and relaxed count backwards from ten (in your head) and slowly allow yourself to come back to reality. This meditation is great because it usually only takes about 5-10 minutes to fully experience it, though you can stay longer if you wish. You will find that when you emerge, if you have completely let yourself relax the you will feel as if a large weight has been lifted, you will be rejuvenated! Until next time! Love and light. <3 font="">3>

Basic Chakra Cleanse
Week #6:
(I do not own the copyright to this image!)
As with all meditations start in a quiet environment in which you will not be disturbed. Sit in a relaxed position with your back straight and your shoulders back. Focus on your breathing until it slows. Breathe in deeply, hold it and exhale through your nose. Once your breathing is at a steady rhythmic pace and you feel completely relaxed you may begin. I will give you the simplified version, (using white light) but if you wish you may cleanse each chakra with it's own chakra color. There are many chakras but the main ones and their colors are listed above. With your eyes closed breathe in a very bright purifying white light. This light should be nearly blinding. Start with your base chakra located at the base of your tail bone. Cleanse this chakra with the white light. Burn off any impurities with the light until it burns brighter than any star. Once you feel that your chakra is cleansed and shining as brightly as it can it is healthy. Follow this process and move upwards, do this with each of your chakras until they are glowing bright, shiny and clean. Once all of your chakras are cleansed slowly bring yourself back to consciousness bit by bit. Do not rush this! It is also very important to take your time when you are cleansing each chakra, do not rush this, you will know when it is time to move to the next, so do not be impatient!! Cleaning your chakras every day and every night is highly recommended, but you can also do it when ever you are feeling weighed down, or when your energy is negative or "dirty". You will be surprised at how rejuvenated you feel after doing this for a regular basis it is a useful tool. Remember Practice makes perfect! Until next time Blessed Be!
Meditation of the week 4/10
Apple meditation
Week #5:
This meditation is one of the first that I ever learned and it is an excellent foundation meditation! It is taken from the book , 'The Power of the Witch', by Laurie Cabot. To start this meditation Ground and Center, but as always make sure that you are in a place in which you will not be disturbed. (For those of you who do not know how to do this please refer to the meditations for week 2). Once you are completely grounded, centered and calm go into a deep trance like state. You can do this by focusing and controlling your breathing. It is very normal for the room to feel larger, or for you to feel as if the air around you is vibrating/humming. When you are ready picture a large white screen, as if you were sitting in a movie theater by yourself. At first the white screen is all that you see, but when you are ready search for an apple, call to it (in your mind) and let it come to you upon the white screen. Picture this apple in it's entirety, Including any bumps, bruises, wormholes or imperfections it might contain. Remember that this is a real apple, this apple exists somewhere in space and time so it does not need to be perfect. Every time you do this meditation you will most likely get a new apple. Do not doubt yourself with worries of, "imagining" the apple. It is there and this is a truth that you are certain of. Reach forth with your hands now and touch this apple with your index and middle fingers. Stroke it gently, feel it's skin. Do this at approximately brow level, as you are reaching up to the screen. When you feel the apple and you are done examining it, split the apple in two. Do this directly through the middle so that you may see the perfect pentacle that the brown apple seeds of the core form. When you are done examining the apple, "erase" it from the screen with your hands. Slowly begin to come back to consciousness wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes before trying to move the rest of you take this slowly. ~Blessed Be~
Meditation of the week 4/4
Stress relief
Week #4:
As with all meditations I recommend that you start by centering yourself, (you can find the process for this in the meditation archives of this blog). Typically I find that this meditation works best in the shower or the bath tub, with hot or cold water depending on what soothes you most. Make sure as always that you will not be disturbed. If you wish you can set the mood with soothing music, perhaps light candles and add bath oils if you would like to do so.Once you have the atmosphere to your liking go deep within yourself and focus on your center. Control your breathes so that they are slow and steady! Listen to the sound of your breathing, focus on it. Once you are very calm picture a vivid and very bright light surrounding you like a cloud of fog or steam. This is your cloud of cleansing energy, with every inhale breathe in this bright light, know that it is moving through your body. Let this cloud move through every cell and every inch of you. (this cloud can be a vivid white, I like to color mine a cooling, soothing blue). With every breathe the fog fills you more completely and with every exhale you push out your stress into the water. Inhale the cloud to cleanse and soothe, exhale your stress into the cleansing waters. I find it helpful to , "see" the stress within your body and locate it. Color your stress a very dark black, when you exhale push this black stress out and allow the fog to fill the holes left until you are completely full of calm. Once this is done I like to perform the earlier mentioned "shielding" exercise but it is not a requirement to do so. When you are ready, (don't be in a hurry that is very important) drain the water and know that all of the stress and worry within you is now washing down the drain. I also find it helpful to do positive affirmations. The one that I like to use for myself is, "I need to let go of stress the Goddess is the best, I'm in the Universes arms, the Goddess keeps me safe from harm". But you can tailor yours to be whatever works for you! ~Love and Light~!!

Shielding
( I want to give credit for this meditation to Arachnae's
Metaphysics, they worded it very nicely and I didn't feel I
needed to improve upon it )

Week #3:
" Shielding is the process of protecting yourself from the
energetic influences around you, and is something you can do
independent of grounding, centering, meditating or anything
else.
Have you ever experienced a day when you were full of vague,
directionless anger? or a strange hope inappropriate to your current
circumstances? Before you schedule an appointment with a
psychiatrist, see if shielding makes these intrusive emotions cease -
you may be taking on the energies of people around you, complete
with their own imprimature of hope, fear, anger or whatnot.
Shielding is a skill that you can use independent of grounding and
centering, and when you are going into highly charged situations (a
court room, a job review or interview, a family argument), shielding
is a vital step in keeping your energies separate from all the
swirling energies around you.
Shielding, like grounding and centering, is a visualizing process, and
everyone evolves their own special shielding ritual. While
grounded, draw up energy into your being. Use this energy to form
a protective barrier between yourself and the negative vibes of
those around you, or random free-floating energies. You can
visualize a transparent plexi-glass egg around you - the good
intentions and friendly emotions around you are free to pass
through your shield, but all bad stuff gets deflected. Some people
make shields that reflect negativity back to the source, but this,
while perhaps satisfying to one's sense of fair play, still leaves too
much negative energy in the atmosphere. Set your shields to 'ground
out' any negative energy that impinges on it, and let it flow
harmlessly into the earth, where it can be neutralized and recycled
into good energy. "

Grounding & Centering 3/20
Week #2:
Week #2:
Centering: Before you do any kind of spell work, or spiritual energy
work it is very important to center yourself. Sit in a comfy and quiet
place where you won't be disturbed. Practice deep breathing, in
through your nose, out through your mouth. Focus on the sounds of
your breathing. When you feel very calm and relaxed and you have
fallen into a steady rhythm, imagine that you are breathing in a
bright white light, this light is brighter than any star you could
imagine. Breathe in this calming and cleansing light, as you exhale
imagine this light pushing out all of your daily stresses, anxieties,
and problems. Exhale them out as a black mist/vapor, and continue
to breathe in the white light. Do this until you feel centered and
happy. Basically when you center you are pushing out negativity
and breathing in/strengthening your spiritual center. Some people
picture the spiritual center as their solar plexus chakra, some
picture it directly behind the belly button. It is said if you are
spiritually uncentered you may feel off balance as if you are about
to topple over.

Grounding: When you do spirit/energy work or rituals , if you are
not grounding you are only using YOUR OWN energy to power
this ritual. When you do this you can very easily overtax yourself.
This can cause headache and even illness if done too often. It is a
good idea to tap into the extra energy reserve of Mother Earth. (She
doesn't mind.) The Earth is a massive source of energy, by tapping
into it you will be using not only your own energy for your
workings but hers aswell. For those of you who feel guilty for using
the energy of the Earth, the minimal amount that you use will not
do any harm for her, but it will GREATLY increase your abilities.
Just remember to always do this with an air of love and respect.
Once again make sure that you are sitting in a quiet and peaceful
place. Do your breathing exercises as mentioned above. When you
are into that calm peaceful breathing rhythm picture yourself
standing barefoot in the soil. (Or you may actually stand barefoot in
the soil, but this works even if you are in a high rise building or a
plane). Feel your connection to the Earth, as you exhale picture
roots sprouting from your feet and plunging deep within the Earth.
As you inhale imagine the Earth's energy being channeled up your
roots and into your body. As you exhale continue to plunge your
roots deeper down. Do this for several minutes until you feel alive
and grounded. If you wish you may also extend a root from your
head into the Universe and draw power from it as well.

~Meditation of the week~
void meditation
Week #1:
Void meditation is a basic yet very important
meditation regardless of belief or religion. The benefits of this meditation
range from calming effects and the ability to lower one's blood pressure, to
the more advanced practical uses during ritual. Void meditation is the practice
of completely clearing the mind (hence the void) of all thought, or emotion so
that all power and energy may be focused upon one thing. This also comes in
handy for programming items and setting intent during ritual. (Note that is is
very important to perform this meditation in a place that you will not be
suddenly disturbed, shut off cell phones, take house phones off the hook and
make sure that you will not be bothered. Being taken suddenly out of a
meditative state is a great shock to the senses and can be quite painful, even
causing migraine headaches in some individuals).
Step one: Set the mood. This meditation can take place anywhere that makes
you comfortable. It can be a bedroom, a warm bath or under your favorite tree,
whatever works for you. If you are able, sit indian style and let your hands rest
on your knees. Keep your back straight and close your eyes. At first when you
close your eyes you will notice your other senses sharpening, you will hear the
sounds around you and be more aware of your environment. Take this all in.
Once you are adjusted, start to focus on your breathing, listen to your
breathes as you inhale and exhale, feel the oxygen as it fills your lungs. Do
this for 5-10 minutes to start with. (As you progress you will be able to place
yourself into this state much faster). Now comes the important (and most
difficult part) clearing your mind. First before you start clearing your mind you
need to decide what it is that you want to focus on. In void meditation you can
focus solely on ONE thing I can’t stress this enough. It can be a sound, an
emotion, a thought or intention (as long as you don’t let your mind wonder),
many people use a candle flame **if you use a candle flame your eyes can be
open** or the feeling of a cloth on the finger tips. Once you decide what it is
you want to focus on , keep your eyes closed and try to clear your mind of
everything but the thing you want to focus on. This may be easy at first, but the
difficulty comes when invasive thoughts start to pop in. These are typically
songs, segments from t.v. shows, conversations you had with family or friends
earlier in the day and so on. You will eventually get to a place where you can
focus solely on the one thing. Once you get to the point focus on that item for
AS LONG as you are able. Your ability and the ease of this meditation will
increase the more that you practice. It is a great way to relax and relieve
stress in daily life. When you are ready to come back to reality first let your
mind take back over, if your eyes are closed you may open them, before you
try to move your body it is a good idea to gently start wiggling your fingers and
toes first, let yourself ease back into normal consciousness. There you go,
you now know the basic void meditation come back next week for my next
meditation!
