Moonbeams and Mystery Week 8!!

Photo of the Week
Just enjoying the Cherry Blossoms

Be sure to check out the article about Beltane in the Witches Sabbats section!

Recommended web-site of the week

This week I want to recommend Llewellyn Worldwide. This is a great site that I've mentioned to you all a couple of times before. This site contains SO MUCH knowledge, and so many useful resources it is def. worth your time to check it out, find Articles, rituals, products and much more. http://www.llewellyn.com/index.php

Recommended read of the week

My recommended read is , "The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Dreams" by by Anna Fornari was published in 1988. Yes, this is not exactly a new book. I got my copy from a used book warehouse, buried among stacks of hundreds of random books, but you can get yours from Amazon.com (link below). I credit this book with saving my life! This is a book about dream interpretation, I've used this book loyally for about 3 years and it has been 100% accurate in predicting important events in my life. I am a precognant, and my dreams occasionally warn me of events to come. I highly recommend this book. Take note that not all dreams mean something, in fact the vast majority mean nothing at all. Only certain dreams, dreamed during REM sleep have meaning. I can usually tell these dreams apart because they are very realistic in nature, and they have a certain heaviness about them.

Poem of the week
There will be no poem of the week this week! Sorry everyone, but i'm only human and the inspiration just isn't flowing this week. I want to take this opportunity to apologize for this weeks post being late I've been dealing with some pregnancy issues. I would like to mention that though Beltane is celebrated between the 1st and the 5th the majority of people celebrate on the 1st, to them I apologize doubly. As always I welcome  your questions, comments and complaints. Until next time, Love and Light!

Recommended web-site of the week

This week I wanna tell you about Mother Nature Network, this is a great site/blog to check out. There are a ton of Eco Friendly links for you to explore, but the one that I am linking directly to is the Top 10 environmental documentaries of 2009, (yes I am aware that it is 2013 this is still a great list!). I highly recommend that you watch as many of these environmental impact documentaries as you can stomach, they are VERY eye opening. So in the Spirit of this Earth Day past, enjoy! You can find most of them free with enough searching, some are also available to, "rent" on Amazon.com. http://www.mnn.com/lifestyle/arts-culture/photos/top-10-environmental-documentaries-of-2009/inspiring-and-shocking

Recommended read of the week

Sorry to disappoint but I don't have a recommended read for this week!!! I am in the process of reading a few books right now so be sure to come back next week to see what I have in store for you!

Poem of the week
"Break the Stasis"

Jealousy entangles me

tapping trapping choking me

the dark side of me eyes of green

the future yet remains unseen-

light wins out and crushes black

balance I need to get on track/

I desire shades of grey

light and dark mixed love and hate-

I will never let fear win

lessons learned remember them/

pieces of it make you whole

let not one side have control-

they must share and you must take

there is too much that is at stake/

embrace all aspects and all faces

break the cycle leave your stasis

-Angel Hammer

Please feel free to leave me any questions or comments!!! Take care and enjoy your path always. Be sure to check out my Beltane article in the, "Witches Sabbats" section to the right! (Beltane May 5th!!!)

Recommended read of the week

I want to highly suggest the book Moon Magick: Myth and Magick, Crafts and Recipes, Rituals and Spells by D.J. Conway. This is currently my favorite book. I have always been deeply connected to the Moon as are we all, this book really helps you to realize how deep that connection goes. It is written in a way that you may read it all at once, skip around or as I am doing follow along month by month. I love this book!!!

Poem of the week
"The Goddess"

The Goddess is my mother
she provides for all my wants
I will not waste my life with worries, fear and buts/
my soul's calm in her pasture
my heart dances to her song -
the earth restores my soul
& moonlit waters make me whole/

I follow my own path the one the Universe has set
the truth guides me through the valley
a song forever in my step-
with reverance for life and no fear of death
the old way is the right way I know this with every breathe/

I shall prepare a table for those who aren't my friends
with words of care, peace& love relationships will mend-
"May you never hunger", this I say,"May you never thirst
your cup is filled this day" /

Surely peace and harmony the days of my life will follow me
so many lessons left to learn i'll take them all to heart-
in Summerland my soul will rest until it all restarts
When the beginning comes the end the circle will come round again/

Love Light and Blessed Be follow your heart and you'll be free

Recommended read of the week

My recommended read for the week is a book that I mentioned in this weeks meditation! The Power of the Witch, by Laurie Cabot. This book may not be for everyone but as with all things you must draw your own meanings from it. It is still quite a useful tool and as I mentioned previously it was the very first book I ever read related to the craft as a child. It stuck with me!

Poem of the week
"Spring"

I breathe the air it cleanses me

refreshing exhilarating setting me free

so crisp this spring my favorite thing

to dance barefoot under moon and sing

the time is right beginning new life

the Mother our Earth renews my fight

This is a great and very informative book, not only for children but also for beginners in any of the Pagan or Goddess religions! You can also get an accompanying MP3 music set or CD called Circle Round and Sing. Love , love, LOVE this.

Poem of the week
"The Secret"

I close my eyes and that I hear

is something far but still quite near

the rhythmic ticking of the clock each moment passes time never stops

the plick and plop of falling rain

drifting to sleep i'm off again

to a world that makes more sense

dreams fade fast

like the brush of a kiss

the secrets imparted bring me truth

wisdom and strength that shame my youth

the tools the build and bind my mind

the cadence so steady I won't try to divine

I'll grasp you close now to my breast

as we journey together and sort this mess

-Angel Hammer

Poem of the week
" The real battle is inside"

My voice rings steady from the depths

a command brought forth to quell the storm

that rages inside this is a test to see how well I can perform-

rising like a thick dense smoke obscuring the vision

my senses choke/

I will adapt and overcome my heart beats like a tribal drum

the tap the bang it screams to me

can't you hear it it's deafening-

I follow the path and breathe in deep

steadying the center inside of me/

My mind my soul they are as one I rise above the war is won
